Children’s Sunday Message
Jesus Said, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God…"
During our service we ask the children to join us up front for a special message from Pastor Tom. The message is a few minutes long. Pastor Tom tries to incorporate the topic of his sermon into a child friendly message and likes to get the children involved as much as possible. The message always ends in prayer and then the children are invited to go down stairs for Sunday School or to our nursery.
Children’s Sunday School
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)
We offer children's Sunday School classes downstairs during the second half of our worship service. The class is appropriate for all elementary school ages and is usually based on the lesson of the sermon or scripture that day. These classes are taught by great and caring Sunday School teachers. The children enjoy learning these lessons through fun projects that they get to take home with them after the service.
Our Nursery
“May the LORD give you increase, you and your children! (Psalms 115:14)
After the Children's message part of our worship service, we offer optional child care for the little ones (infants through preschoolers) in our beautiful, newly redone nursery. Our nursery is clean, newly painted, has new carpet (we ask that everyone removes their shoes before entering), a changing table, pack and play, and lots of books and toys to entertain the children while parents relax and enjoy the service. We have adults and sometimes responsible teen age helpers, all who love kids, that enjoy volunteering for the important task of watching over our most precious little ones.
